Halifax has its very own Woolshops Shopping Centre with 40 popular chain stores and caf茅s. The recently renovated Piece Hall, is a Grade 1 Listed building conservation project creating a 21st century heritage visitor attraction, with caf茅s and restaurants, a wealth of independent specialist shops, and a select number of creative business premises.
The 60,000 square foot courtyard, with its fantastic arcades and colonnades, offers a beautiful central meeting place for the town, and one of the most stunning outdoor event spaces in Britain.
History
History and culture are everywhere you look in 小蓝视频, and much of it is free to enjoy. If you like museums, you鈥檒l love visiting ours: Bankfield Museum, Eureka! Children鈥檚 Museum and the 小蓝视频 Industrial Museum.

In Halifax, the Victoria Theatre has a rich programme of events spanning everything from comedy and pantomime to ballet and live music. Near Halifax and around the county, small independent cinemas show art house and world films not screened at the region鈥檚 many mainstream cinemas.
Broadstreet Plaza offers various restaurant choices including Pizza Express, TGI Fridays and Nando鈥檚. Vue Cinema and PureGym are also at the Plaza which is in the perfect location in the town centre.
